About The Position

At Picnic, we’re reinventing the way employees experience lunch at work by partnering with top local restaurants to offer high-quality, individually packed meals without fees or tips. Our mission is to create a seamless, affordable, and joyful lunch experience that benefits both employees and employers. This role involves executing the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and cold calling to pitching, high-level negotiation, and final closing. The Account Executive will strategically identify and qualify high-potential business opportunities across diverse industries, focusing on decision-makers in HR, Facilities, and Workplace Experience. They will present Picnic’s value proposition through tailored proposals, lead field engagement with a strong physical presence for in-person meetings and site visits, maintain meticulous CRM records for accurate forecasts, and partner with Marketing and Operations for successful client onboarding.

Requirements

  • Proven Hunter Mentality: You thrive in a 100% outbound environment. You are energized by cold calling, field sales, and the challenge of building a pipeline from scratch.
  • Industry Acumen: Ideally, you bring experience from large organizations, specifically within HR, Facilities, or Workplace functions. You understand the pain points of office managers and HR leaders.
  • Sales Discipline: You are a closer who is comfortable with a 2–3 month sales cycle and committed to hitting consistent activity metrics.
  • Mobilized & Proactive: This role requires a "boots on the ground" approach. You must have access to a vehicle and a willingness to engage prospects in person.
  • Resilience & Grit: You possess a high degree of emotional intelligence and sales stamina, allowing you to handle objections with ease and maintain a high volume of daily activity.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Full Sales Cycle: Own the end-to-end process from initial prospecting and cold calling to pitching, high-level negotiation, and final closing.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and qualify high-potential business opportunities across diverse industries, focusing on decision-makers in HR, Facilities, and Workplace Experience.
  • Solution-Based Pitching: Present Picnic’s value proposition through tailored proposals, ranging from recurring subsidized lunch programs to high-impact corporate events.
  • Field Engagement: Lead the charge with a strong physical presence, conduct in-person meetings and site visits to build trust and close deals.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records within our CRM, providing accurate forecasts and actionable market insights directly to our leadership team.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Marketing and Operations to ensure a flawless transition from "closed-won" to successful client onboarding.
