About The Position
INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking an Account Executive, Social, to join our KIA team! We are a hybrid work environment, currently x3 days week onsite. Local candidates only. The Account Executive, Social, will assist us as we grow our brand by planning, implementing, and managing our social media presence and organization’s online presence. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the rhythm of social content production, and takes pride in keeping teams aligned and moving forward. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Requirements
- 2+ years in related social media marketing roles at an ad agency or in-house marketing department
- Knowledgeable in MS software, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Knowledgeable in Project Management Tools including Basecamp and Smartsheet.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements.
- Thorough understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- A team player who is willing to work with various internal stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Influencer Management experience is bonus.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and maintain detailed project timelines across campaigns, launches, and always-on social programs
- Ensure key milestones are clearly communicated and proactively flag risks or delays
- Manage internal review rounds and client approval workflows
- Maintain up-to-date status documents, trackers, and project management systems
- Support Account Director and Account Supervisor in day-to-day client communications
- Prepare meeting agendas, status reports, and recaps
- Help track scopes of work and deliverables against timelines
- Assist in the development of presentations and campaign materials
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiencies across the social team
- Ensure assets, feedback, and documentation are properly organized and accessible
- Support resource management conversations by tracking deliverable cadence and workload
