The Small-Medium Enterprise Account Executive (AE) is a member of the Qualys Inside Sales Team, focusing on companies with 250 to 5000 employees. This role requires meeting and exceeding new sales targets, possessing excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to perform high-level consultative sales, articulating business value to C-level executives. The AE must have a "HUNTER/CLOSER" mentality with a proven track record in value-driven sales. Responsibilities include actively driving and managing new direct and channel business within the assigned geographic region. The AE is accountable for building pipeline and closing business, motivated to solve critical security challenges for prospects by identifying suitable solutions. The role involves close partnership with Solution Architects, Sales Leadership, and Marketing to ensure success.
