About The Position

As an SMB Account Executive at Recurly, you will be responsible for originating new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle, and closing deals with small and medium-sized businesses. You will leverage your sales skills and industry knowledge to identify prospects, build relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our company's success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential SMB clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points.
  • Present and demonstrate our products/services to prospects, showcasing how they address client needs and deliver value.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, including pricing and contract terms.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within SMB organizations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts to close business deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas on a consistent basis.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product/service offerings and their benefits to SMB clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, opportunities, and market feedback.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales development, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales strategy discussions to contribute to overall team success.
