About The Position

We’re building the foundational Go-To-Market team for Base44, an AI-powered software development platform recently acquired by Wix. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of a category-defining shift in how software is built—bringing a transformative product to the SMB segments. This is a high-impact, high-velocity role for a seller who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. You won’t just be following a playbook; you’ll be helping to write it. Working closely with Base44 and Wix leadership, you will drive the full sales cycle, turning technical innovation into tangible business value for our customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience in a technology company, with a proven track record of smashing quotas.
  • Experience in SMB: You excel in environments with shorter sales cycles and high-volume deal flow.
  • Bottom-up Sales Fluency: Experience with PLG or "land and expand" motions—you know how to leverage Individual Contributors (ICs) to drive organizational adoption.
  • Technical Curiosity: Experience with AI, ML, or developer-centric SaaS is preferred. You should be comfortable discussing technical workflows with stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial Grit: You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with the ambiguity of a "startup within a giant" environment.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to tailor complex messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • At this time we are seeking NY‑based candidates who can commute to our NYC office 3 times per week

Responsibilities

  • Own the Velocity: Manage the full sales cycle from aggressive outbound prospecting to closing high-growth SMB accounts.
  • Translate Vision: Turn Base44’s AI capabilities into "business-speak" that resonates with CXOs, Product Leads, and Founders.
  • Build the Blueprint: Shape the foundational sales motion, including messaging, outreach strategies, and customer segmentation to support future scale.
  • Drive Early Revenue: Identify and convert high-potential prospects, building the early momentum that defines our market presence.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Act as a critical feedback loop between the market and our product team to influence the roadmap and positioning.
  • Forecast & Manage: Maintain a clean CRM and provide accurate deal forecasting to support our rapid growth.
