About The Position

Perry Weather is the weather safety standard for organizations that operate outdoors, pairing hyperlocal on-site sensors with a software platform for automated alerts, compliance, and real-time operational decisions. Over 5,000 organizations, including NFL and MLB teams, school districts, universities, and municipalities, trust their services. The company is hiring an Account Executive to manage new bookings across their education and local government markets. These are Perry Weather's most established verticals, with over 2,000 customers in 45+ states, partnerships with 20+ state high school athletic associations, and strong regulatory tailwinds. The role requires an individual who can execute on existing brand awareness and product-market fit.

Requirements

3+ years of closing experience in a hunter role
Experience selling into SLED markets
Proven ability to manage a pipeline and close deals
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-starter with a competitive drive and resilience
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

Own full-cycle sales across K-12, higher education, and local government accounts
Build and manage a pipeline through strategic prospecting and outbound activity
Develop champions who can navigate internal approvals, board decisions, and committee-based procurement
Align proposals to budget cycles and fiscal year timelines common in public sector buying
Help customers identify grants and funding pathways to accelerate purchases
Sell on value, connecting Perry Weather to faster decisions, reduced liability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency
