About The Position

The Account Executive will focus on driving revenue growth by upselling SaaS solutions to existing enterprise clients. This role combines strategic account management, consultative selling, and solution-based presentations to C-level executives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product, client services, and engineering—to deliver tailored recommendations that solve complex business challenges. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, has a strong track record of enterprise software sales, and excels at building trusted client relationships while consistently exceeding revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in SaaS, RMIS, GRC, IRM, or related software.
  • Proven success selling to C-level executives and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and ability to understand client business requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and persuasive presence.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in time and territory management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment; ideal locations include Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, or other U.S. locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of risk management concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted upsell plans within an assigned account base to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Maintain and leverage relationships with C-level executives across risk management, IT, compliance, and internal audit functions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client business requirements.
  • Lead meetings, facilitate contract negotiations, and close deals to expand adoption of SaaS solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are understood and addressed effectively.
  • Track all sales activities, opportunities, and contacts in CRM systems to maintain data accuracy and support reporting.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple accounts and tasks across a geographically dispersed territory.
  • Travel as required, approximately 20–30% of the time.
