We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive Sales - Renewable Energies to drive revenue growth in the renewable energy sector. In this executive role, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence, building strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions to clients in the renewable energy industry. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge, sales expertise, and leadership skills to propel our business forward and solidify our position as an industry leader.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship (required)
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of leadership in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, energy storage, grid solutions, etc.).
  • Strong background in selling complex solutions, including SaaS, hardware, or integrated technology platforms, to energy stakeholders.
  • Established relationships with key decision-makers within the renewable energy ecosystem.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Expertise in navigating regulatory and policy frameworks within the energy industry.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients, attend events, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the renewable energy sector.
  • Identify and cultivate key relationships with utilities, developers, independent power producers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead high-level negotiations and close complex sales deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs, tailor solutions, and deliver value-driven proposals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams to refine offerings and enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform business strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and key networking events to elevate brand presence and drive lead generation.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analysis to executive leadership.
  • Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company.
