About The Position

As an Account Executive, Public Sector, SLED at Snowflake, you will develop strategic relationships, identify and close new business opportunities within Public Sector organizations on federal and state level. You will be the trusted advisor to the customer at the most senior levels and drive thought leadership by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake solution within their organization. You will challenge the customers' status-quo around their current operations and propose solutions which enable and align to the customers' digital transformation roadmaps. Additionally, you will collaborate with marketing and the partner organization to develop high-level plans to drive revenue growth and master a solution-based approach to selling with experience managing complex sales processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, preferably in cloud, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, and SaaS.
  • Proven ability to develop, manage, and close new client relationships at CxO level in Public Sector organizations.
  • Extensive network with key decision makers in the Public Sector.
  • Deep knowledge of how Public Sector organizations procure and implement technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of building substantial business with Public Sector clients ($3m+ ARR).
  • Experience managing complex sales processes.
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with a positive attitude.
  • Drive, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit to build a business from scratch.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
