Rapid7 is hiring an Account Executive in Chicago to prospect into State & Local Governments in Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Missouri. This is a full cycle sales position, with a focus on net-new customer acquisition. We are prioritizing applicants who currently live in metro Chicago, IL. The main goal of the Account Executive is to drive net new sales, while managing upsell opportunities within your assigned territory. In this role, you will partner cross functionally with internal teams and channel partners to drive business opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation to contract close. This is a quota carrying role and critical to the continued success of Rapid7.
