The Account Executive will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing PR campaigns and news cycles for a Fortune 100 client at the intersection of technology and cutting-edge innovation. This position will support public affairs news moments, campaigns, and national media landscape research.

  • Responsible for creating and executing PR campaigns for a Fortune 100 client and managing day-to-day client activities and internal team projects.
  • Responsible for finding targets in technology, education, workforce, nonprofit and public affairs media, and influencers.
  • Craft compelling, high-quality content including press releases, media pitches, blog posts, social content that demonstrates strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Research and analyze emerging communication and industry trends to inform strategic narrative and identify proactive story angles that position clients as thought leaders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key national, trade and local reporters to secure meaningful coverage.
  • Monitor, report, and provide insight on issue-specific news and social coverage.
  • Leverage client’s extensive data to conceive and drive stories apart from traditional news.
  • Oversee and reinforce consistent adherence to media management processes and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships by contributing to the development and implementation of communication strategies, executing and leading on projects.
  • Negotiate and manage client expectations and satisfaction; assure internal and external stakeholders are aligned.
  • Provide thoughtful mentorship to junior team members by reviewing their work and delivering constructive, actionable feedback that fosters growth and confidence.
  • 2-3 years of experience in PR, preferably in an agency setting and/or public affairs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong analytical writing skills
  • Experience with written and developed materials, including integrated communication plans, press releases, pitches, and social media content highly desirable
  • Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Previous media experience including building media lists and pitches
  • Comfortable with integrated communication principles
  • Interest in developing integrated communications skills incorporating digital and social media
  • High level of initiative and excels at organization
  • Desire to be an engaged, accessible member of a dynamic office and broader global agency community
  • Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking)
