The Department: Within our organization, the Marketing & Sales (M&S) team is responsible for the strategic development & maintenance of our customer base. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of industry sales experience (ocean transportation, steamship industry)
  • Required Travel: 25%, or as needed to cover the sales territory
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle is required as this is an outside sales position
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint

Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Customer Relations - Identify new opportunities, maintain, and improve the value of existing business, and grow positive customer relations.
  • Sales Plan - Create, execute, and deliver continuous improvement of the business plan with focus toward growing revenue, contribution, and customer value.
  • Bid & Contracts - Develop strategies, collaborate with prospective customers, and work with cross functional teams to establish a quality business relationship.
  • Compliance - Adhere to and role model OOCL competition compliance polices & procedures in all business activities.
