About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Account Executive (University Development Counselor) to oversee the Los Angeles, CA territory in this unique military community-based opportunity. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor. Grand Canyon Education offers a generous benefits package, including 100% tuition-free education for employees through the Master's degree program level and 75% coverage at the Doctorate degree program level. In addition, an employee's spouse, children and dependents are also offered generous tuition benefits. New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Clear communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement event/activity plans for the territory to build awareness of online academic programs.
• Drive inquiry generation through high impact partnerships.
• Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners.
• Promote Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Support prospective students through the admissions process.
• Use critical thinking skills to guide students towards a successful online learning experience.
