We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Merrillville, IN territory in this unique community-based opportunity. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor. This role will require the Account Executive to be boots-on-the-ground in Merrillville, IL. New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Clear communication skills, both in person and in writing.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement event/activity plans for the territory to build awareness of online academic programs.
• Drive inquiry generation through high impact partnerships and execute daily work through presentations, calls, and emails.
• Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums.
• Support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process.
• Use critical thinking skills to guide students towards a successful online learning experience.
