About the position

As a Mid-Market Account Executive with Freshworks, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint with our Mid-Market segment (500 -1,000 employee size). Your focus will be on delivering EX solutions, driving volume-based business growth, and managing moderate-sized deal cycles. You'll work in a consultative, adaptable, and strategic manner to engage small buying teams and close deals in medium-length sales cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute sales strategies tailored to mid-market customers, delivering value-driven solutions for ITSM, employee onboarding, and engagement needs
  • Identify, qualify, and engage prospects, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities through discovery and virtual sales efforts
  • Navigate small buying teams to build trust and influence decision-making processes
  • Manage moderate-sized deals with a focus on negotiating terms, securing commitments, and closing agreements
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success teams to deliver seamless customer experience

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of success in SaaS or mid-market sales, with a proven ability to drive results
  • Strong discovery, negotiation, and virtual selling capabilities
  • Solid knowledge of SaaS, with specific experience in employee experience (EX) platforms, including onboarding and engagement tools
  • Consultative, adaptable, and strategic in your approach to customer engagements
  • A customer-first approach, coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment

Benefits

  • Base Salary range: $103,000 - $145,000
  • Eligible for variable compensation
