About The Position

Pendo is seeking a motivated and dynamic Account Executive for its Mid Market team. This role is crucial for driving revenue retention through renewals and identifying new business opportunities. The Account Executive will work closely with customers to demonstrate the value of Pendo's platform, address their needs, and ensure long-term customer success. This position requires a balance of consultative selling, strategic prospecting, and effective pipeline management, contributing significantly to Pendo's growth strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an Account Executive or related role involving direct customer engagement.
  • Proven experience managing Mid Market accounts and building relationships at the executive level.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills for structuring and closing multi-year agreements.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored for executive audiences.
  • Experience in territory planning and developing strategic account plans.
  • Successful track record in technology sales within a subscription-based business model.
  • Excellence in sales pipeline management and CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.com & Clari.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Become a mini-expert on Pendo's Solutions and Sales Strategy.
  • Analyze Customer Accounts to craft timely and accurate renewal and expansion proposals.
  • Own the Sales Pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely updates to leadership.
  • Drive Revenue Growth by achieving quarterly and annual targets for bookings, renewals, and expansions.
  • Lead Strategic Account Planning to identify growth opportunities and align with customer goals.
  • Handle the entire sales cycle from opportunity creation to deal closure.
  • Address and resolve customer challenges to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with technical, customer success, and product teams for tailored strategies.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and secure additional growth.
  • Be flexible to travel for key customer meetings and events.
