About The Position

The Account Executive should be a dynamic, strategic, and resourceful consultative sales focused professional, with a strong understanding of custom services selling, marketing, and alliance development. Responsible for all activities related to the networking, hunting, research, development, planning, and other strategic sales efforts responsible for opening doors for the WWT brand, capabilities, and offerings focused on acquiring new retail customers. Focus will likely start around industry-specific networks and solutions, and will own the initial selling motion for adding a handful of strategic, long-term new customer partnerships year over year. The Account Executive will open doors and build relationships with prospective clients (senior business leaders in marketing, operations, and IT) via primarily new, direct, mid-market sized relationships, referrals, or marketing-based selling. They will identify target industries and buyers of the solution, outline a marketing and selling approach including understanding the prospective addressable market and revenue prediction forecasts of the targeted industries assigned. The role will work alongside a collection of WWT personnel to help further grow the WWT relationship with these clients through transformation efforts that may span the entire portfolio of services that WWT has to offer. Experience and success in senior level consultative software selling is critical for this role. Specific pre-established network of relationships in retail customers highly considered.

Requirements

  • Seeking an Intrapreneurial professional who can envision and create new paths within our organization, collaborating cross-functionally, assess risk and measuring success to shape their selling motion.
  • 8-10 years' experience in a Consulting or Custom Software selling environment.
  • Proven track record of selling to and consulting with Mid-Market and Technology leadership Buyers.
  • Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining relationships at all organizational levels, including Director, Vice President and C-level executives.
  • Experience working with buyers in a defined retail space.
  • Experience working within matrixed organizations as well as startup environments.
  • Exhibits superior communication skills, both oral and written; is clear, concise, sincere and persuasive. Is also a good listener and shows an interest in what others have to say.
  • Demonstrates initiative and creativity in all work efforts. Pursues objectives beyond what is required or expected. Able to mobilize and persuade others.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical levels to consistently meet/exceed planned objectives.
  • Extensive experience in digital climates both creative and technical and the ability to measure success of such efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work alongside a small internal staff and external partners where necessary.
  • Effective facilitation and public speaking skills and presence.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and persuade new and existing mid-market retail clients to begin an engagement with WWT.
  • Identify the specific markets, buyers, problems and solutions that provide the most strategic opportunity for focus.
  • Work through Channel Partner motions to help build relationships with defined partners.
  • Inform marketing spend/direction and additional resources necessary to expand the Platform Solution
  • Work alongside WWT sales, marketing and business development teams to regularly present the specific Platform Solution that you are responsible for, the core message, service offerings and position to prospective clients and partners.
  • Understand an organization's brand, experience, technological and competitive footprint.
  • Partner with internal WWT teams to identify current customer technology profiles.
  • Partner with Strategists, Analysts, Engagement Managers and Project Managers to sell Platform solutions.
