The Microsoft Account Executive focuses on maximizing customer investment in the Microsoft Cloud. This role supports Microsoft's Strategic, Majors, and SMC Account Teams within their assigned industry. This position is crucial for customer development and assisting them in utilizing Microsoft solutions. You will collaborate with Account Developers and Account Managers on existing clients and you will also be responsible for establishing net new client relationships.   • Manage the overall relationship and communication with key clients and have full command of their business model, application landscape and how Perficient solutions deliver value.
  • Manage and execute the entire end-to-end selling process, working closely with the Perficient practice leaders and delivery teams (initial lead inquiry, qualification of opportunities, requirements gathering, project scope definition, effort estimation, proposal development, SOW creation, contract negotiation and closing).
  • Co-sell with Microsoft, executing the Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM) for Partners.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for customer engagements.
  • Develop and manage key relationships with Microsoft clients and Partner Alliance personnel to drive additional new business and provide proper communication on account activity.
  • Lead and manage customer engagement opportunities from lead generation, to deal review, to negotiations and closing a deal.
  • Travel to client sites where needed up to 50%.
  • 8+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience.
  • Experience in multiple areas within the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure (Data & AI, App Innovation, and Infrastructure), Biz Apps (Dynamic 365 and Power Platform), Security, and Modern Work.
  • Exposure to Microsoft funding and incentive programs.
  • Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 500 clients.
  • Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling.
  • Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
  • Competitive salary range of $73,008 to $170,640.
