About The Position

The Account Executive - IoT Cameras & Sensors role at Cisco is a strategic senior sales position responsible for driving revenue and growth in the US Public Sector and US Commercial business. This position focuses on selling Physical Security Cameras and IoT Sensors, requiring a balance between engaging in large sales opportunities and managing programs that drive business at scale. The role involves developing business plans, planning sales strategies, delivering customer presentations, and closing deals, while also acting as a trusted consultant and mentor to salespeople.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in upmarket sales within IT Networking, Physical Security, or IoT.
  • Proven track record of growing a territory year over year through strategic selling.
  • Experience conversing with executives and network managers/architects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Several years of successful sales experience in enterprise or B2B environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the IoT and video surveillance space.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales for Physical Security Cameras and IoT Sensors within the Cisco Networking organization.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quotas.
  • Plan sales strategies and develop proposals for customers.
  • Deliver compelling customer presentations and close business deals.
  • Engage in large sales opportunities while managing programs for business growth.
  • Act as a trusted consultant and mentor to salespeople, improving team competency.
