About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic Insurance team in Atlanta, GA. Key Responsibilities Include Serve as strategic point of contact for client Manage annual book of business and proactively monitor upcoming expirations Identify the risk management needs of clients and prospects; Develop and recommend appropriate products and services; Work with client to identify unmitigated risks and cross-sell complimentary products and services Manage a team of 1-5 depending on the office; Responsible for training and advancing the careers of their team Present custom solutions to clients and prospects in a clear and professional manner; Clearly promote American Global’s competitive differentiation in written and verbal presentations Positively and proactively represents American Global in meetings, seminars, trade shows, networking events, industry associations, organizations, boards and charities, as appropriate. Prepare, analyze, execute and/or approve critical business documents, including but not limited to: Client fee agreements, Renewal letter requests, Coverage quotes, Book of business production reports and in-depth data analyses. Cultivate local underwriting relationships to support company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplace. Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting appetites and contacts and recommend appropriate markets for client programs Analyze client risk profile and develop marketing strategy with the team and client Bind insurance coverages, address binding subjectivities, and convert proposals of insurance to summaries of insurance post binding Supports team in response to requests for proposals (RFP) Actively lead account management staff in annual stewardship process, pre-renewal process, final renewal delivery, and other significant account management services for assigned client book of business Develop relationships with centers of influence (Including but not limited to attorney partners, bankers, CPAs) Identify key individuals within the client's organization and build and maintain effective and sustainable relationships Effectively delegate tasks and assist team members to balance workloads when needed Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure a high-level of customer service. Maintain insurance license & CE requirements Additional responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Strong technical property and casualty knowledge, typically 5 to 7+ years industry experience.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of competitors to aid in company prospecting efforts
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the sales discovery process (due diligence)
