About The Position

The Inside Sales representative’s role is to prospect, qualify, and build relationships with new customers, including senior-level district administrators, as well as retain and extend those relationships with our existing client base. The Inside Sales Representative is also responsible for the development of sales and requires being well-versed in all products beyond basic features and benefits. The rep will work closely with customers to determine optimal solutions to meet the needs of the teachers, administrators, and most importantly the students.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One year of sales experience required, EdTech Sales preferred

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred not required

Responsibilities

  • Extensive knowledge of platform features and benefits along with other product lines
  • Set up meetings and deliver virtual presentations/demos of the platform and other sales actions with customers
  • Identify key accounts within a territory to begin the sales process
  • Cold-Call prospects from Agile Database and contact leads generated by ALI Marketing team
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and grow existing customer base
  • Handle inbound leads and convert into sales
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, pricing and generate quotes for customers
  • Use research, evaluation, and analytics of usage to create recommendations for customers
  • Collaborate with the manager and team members to determine the necessary sales approach based on territory
  • Meet weekly with your manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned
