About The Position

The Account Executive II for Advanced Surgical Instruments at Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon division is responsible for selling a comprehensive range of surgical devices and solutions, focusing on energy and endomechanical platforms. This role involves engaging with surgeons and hospital decision-makers primarily in operating room settings, managing a designated sales territory, and achieving sales forecasts through effective business planning and customer relationship management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, demonstrating exceptional achievement of sales objectives.
  • A valid driver's license issued in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full bag of Ethicon offerings of comprehensive surgical devices and solutions including hemostasis, energy sealing and dissection, surgical stapling and wound closure platforms.
  • Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers, primarily in an operating room setting.
  • Be assigned a sales territory focusing on assigned physicians and hospital institutions.
  • Accountable to attain the forecast in their assigned accounts/territory.
  • Set priorities and make sound business decisions based on an understanding of sales opportunities within accounts.
  • Demonstrate proper use of products to clinicians in the Operating Room environment.
  • Manage customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology.
  • Execute the selling cycle in a manner that drives results, is concise, professional, ethical, and compliant with healthcare guidelines.
  • Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in sales training courses.
  • Analyze data and stay updated about market information for business planning.
