About The Position

This position is responsible for marketing of Ebenezer Health Care Purchasing Connection affiliate programs in the senior service markets. The Account Executive has interface with Healthcare Purchasing Connection and Premier programs for Ebenezer and affiliate members. Develops sales and marketing strategies in conjunction with the Director Solid understanding of sales and marketing concepts and tactics Must have relevant industry knowledge Manages assigned accounts effectively Presents information and benefits of affiliate programs to current and target customers at the leadership level Qualifies business opportunities and prepares proposals Establishes and maintains relationships with affiliate members Provides on-going support and education to affiliate members Manages and coordinates relationships with Premier, distributors, and contracted manufacturers to maximize contract utilization by affiliate members High level interpersonal skills Problem solving skills Budgeting and analytical skills Works with Premier to develop, implement and monitor a contract management process for affiliate networks Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access In-depth knowledge of GPO industry Maintains strong knowledge of GPO developments and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science related degree
  • 2 years sales experience, preferably in health care
  • 2 years in GPO organization
  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing concepts and tactics
  • Must have relevant industry knowledge
  • High level interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Budgeting and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • In-depth knowledge of GPO industry
  • Maintains strong knowledge of GPO developments and trends
