About The Position

The SAS North American Healthcare Business Unit is looking for a motivated, results-driven Account Executive to accelerate growth and expand our presence within the healthcare provider sector across the United States. In this role, you'll cultivate high-value partnerships with leading healthcare organizations, including: Ascension, Children's Hospital Medical Center, Johns Hopkins, Advocate/Atrium, Mercy, Novant Health, UPMC, BJC Health System, HCA Healthcare, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and Montefiore Medical Center. As an Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in building authentic relationships, solving complex business challenges, and driving the sales cycle for SAS software solutions, technologies, and services that empower healthcare organizations to transform data into actionable intelligence. Your focus will include expanding our footprint, business prospecting, and engaging customer business units to drive long-term, value-based partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Software Sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, MIS, or a relevant discipline.
  • 5 years' experience in successful enterprise account planning, execution, and deal closure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strategic selling abilities, and experience analyzing territory dynamics.
  • Proven leadership skills, the ability to initiate and manage projects, and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Ability to travel as business dictates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales strategy for assigned accounts, taking ownership of client relationships.
  • Identify and hunt for new opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Qualify business opportunities, understand customer pain points, and create solutions to resolve challenges.
  • Build and manage client relationships, shaping and closing deals with support from SAS specialists.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and transactions to ensure seamless engagements.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients in your territory, advocating for their needs.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
