About The Position

Burson is looking for a Digital Account Executive who will support the development and execution of digital marketing and communications programs for our healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. This role will work closely with account, creative, and digital teams to ensure deliverables are executed seamlessly and align with client goals. Ideal candidates will bring a foundational understanding of digital marketing channels and a desire to grow their expertise within the healthcare space.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing or account management, preferably in an agency or healthcare/pharma environment.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (web, email, paid media, social, SEO/SEM, analytics).
  • Comfortable with digital tools and platforms such as project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Basecamp), and reporting dashboards (e.g., Google Analytics, social insights).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and desire to learn.
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing regulations (e.g., FDA, MLR reviews) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day digital account management activities across multiple projects and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute digital campaigns including websites, email, display, social media, paid search, and SEO.
  • Assist in creating project timelines, status reports, and meeting recaps.
  • Organize and manage digital content, creative assets, and project documentation.
  • Ensure proper version control and assist with submitting materials for MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review as needed.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls; assist with meeting preparation, agendas, and follow-up documentation.
  • Capture feedback and translate client needs into actionable next steps for internal teams.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including account, creative, and earned media to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Help track campaign performance and develop reports with key metrics and insights.
  • Stay up to date on digital marketing best practices, healthcare trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.
  • Share relevant insights with the team to inform client strategy and innovation.
