About The Position

MarketStar is looking for an Account Executive to support our Digital Marketing Solutions team. This team drives revenue growth for digital advertising solutions across a dedicated book of Small-to-Midsize Business (SMB) clients. Your role is to translate client objectives into high-impact strategies on the professional networking platform while consistently meeting revenue goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in digital media sales, account management, or a related role.
  • Experience in digital or social media sales, with a background in marketing or making recommendations to marketers.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with top marketing decision-makers through virtual meetings, phone calls, and email.
  • Demonstrated success in activating and retaining new business and managing a high volume of client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of internet advertising technology and the ability to explain it in simple terms.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate change effectively.
  • Experience with professional platform advertising solutions, Campaign Manager, or similar ad platforms.
  • Salesforce proficiency and exposure to a structured sales methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting performance data.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth from a dedicated book of SMB clients, consistently meeting or exceeding quota expectations.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for your account portfolio, leveraging the platform's tools for segmentation and engagement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Digital Marketing Solutions, educating clients and translating their marketing objectives into actionable strategies on the platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current accounts to grow revenue in strategic product areas.
  • Achieve quarterly goals for client coverage, depth of engagement, and meetings with high-value clients.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, pipeline accuracy, and forecasting discipline.
  • Provide regular updates on your sales pipeline, forecasts, and key results to the management team.
  • Proactively solve problems and take on new initiatives as they arise.
  • Other applicable duties as assigned.
