The Data and Analytics Account Executive is responsible for driving new sales for the Data & Analytics solutions in partnership with core Account Executive and Account Managers. The Account Executive serves as a specialist within defined client segments (banks, insurance, asset management, etc.), supporting the full sales cycle from lead identification through deal closure and post-sale transition. The Account Executive leads product positioning, participating in client demonstrations, and aligning solutions to client objectives. This individual maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by serving as a liaison between Allvue Data Specialist team and client stakeholders throughout the sales process.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years selling enterprise data solutions to Global/regional banks, insurance, asset managers, GPs
  • The ability to conceptualize and build value propositions that deliver a compelling message.
  • Must proactively own the entire sales process and be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously (will need to collaborate with AE/AM as they are operating as a specialist role)
  • Proven success in previous sales roles for each of the past five years.
  • Customer references will be requested.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, analytical, and logical skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas in person, over the telephone, and in written correspondence.
  • A self-starter, who is able to operate successfully in this dynamic and fast-moving corporate environment without the support of an extensive bureaucratic support system.
  • At ease establishing business relationships with individuals from various industries & departments and at various corporate levels.
  • Comfortable speaking before an audience of between 2–50 people in either a live meeting or teleconference setting.
  • Well versed in Windows and Internet technologies.
  • Skilled with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Managers to identify, qualify, and advance Data & Analytics opportunities within both new and existing accounts. Prepare and present Territory Plans, Account Plans, and Opportunity Reviews.
  • Own the Data & Analytics sales motion within assigned opportunities, serving as the subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision-influencing stakeholders, including senior executives and functional leaders within prospect and client organizations. Understand their strategic objectives and align our sales strategy based on their objectives.
  • Determine qualified leads through evaluation of prospect requirements and development of a concise understanding of prospects’ decision-making processes and criteria.
  • Analyze and understand customer insights and market trends; adapt, communicate, and evolve strategies based on these changes.
  • Demonstrate customer-specific benefits of Allvue data solution with a high degree of proficiency.
  • Work closely with our data specialist team to coordinate product demonstrations and workshops for perspective clients.
  • Organize and lead regular client meetings to discuss current offerings, product roadmap and priorities with clients
  • Contribute to proposal development, pricing discussions, and negotiation support to drive deal closure.
  • Accurately forecast future business and identify whitespace opportunities within existing books of business.
  • Represent Allvue Data & Analytics at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as required.
