About The Position

As our Account Executive for existing accounts, you’ll be responsible for prospecting and selling the company’s products (Spectrum) or services to new accounts and maintaining relationships for pipeline purposes. You'll have the opportunity to travel in order to work with customers in a face to face environment. Manage the sales process for a diverse group of assigned existing business opportunities. Understanding customer’s needs and identifying sales opportunities by constantly building pipeline Keeping up with product information and enhancements as well as relevant industry updates through collaboration with our product sales executives and product marketing teams. Research, develop, and maintain long and short range sales and territory plans Closing sales and achieving sales targets (quota) Provide regular reports on sales activities, results and forecasts. Trimble provides the following compensation range and a general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of successful experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, with a preference for prior experience selling Spectrum
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota
  • Exemplary presentation and communication across all levels of an organization
  • Advanced selling capability that showcases your commitment to strategy, customer relations, negotiation and ability to close
  • Technical ability to be proficient with Salesforce.com
