About The Position

Orchestra is seeking a thoughtful and driven Account Executive to join our Legal & Crisis Communications team. In this role, you will support clients navigating complex, high-profile challenges, from sensitive legal matters to urgent media situations and advocacy campaigns on some of today’s most pressing social issues. You’ll help execute communications strategies that shape public understanding, manage risk, and advance meaningful outcomes for our clients. Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The Legal & Crisis team is in-office at least 3 days per week.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in strategic communications in a PR agency or media outlet, or politics, government or advocacy
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy, creative brainstorming and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts
• Manage media monitoring and rapid response for clients
• Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents including vetting reports, research memos, and fact sheets
• Oversee day-to-day communications with clients, including staffing weekly calls, and analyzing press coverage and writing event recaps
• Manage work streams across multiple accounts
