About The Position

Account Executive, Creative & Technical Event Production Summary: The Account Executive is a key driver of revenue growth, tasked with managing the full sales cycle for creative event and experiential marketing solutions. You will combine an entrepreneurial spirit with a consultative approach to translate client marketing objectives into compelling, high-impact live experiences. Alongside a robust marketing function, you will be responsible for proactive prospecting, leads and proposals, and ultimately acquiring new clients.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of 7+ years in B2B sales, preferably within the event, trade show, experiential marketing, or creative agency industries.
  • Demonstrated success in finding new business and managing the entire sales cycle, from cold lead to contract close.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop unique solutions that solve a client's marketing challenges.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and presentation tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site inspections, and on-site event management.

Responsibilities

  • Generate Growth: Proactively prospect and qualify new business opportunities diverse industries.
  • Drive revenue by collaborating with marketing and business development team members and acquiring new prospects through outbound efforts.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned annual sales goals for both net-new business and existing account expansion.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their brand, marketing goals, and vision for their events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized, innovative, and visually compelling event proposals and presentations.
  • Present, negotiate, and close complex contracts, articulating the creative and financial value of the proposed solution.
  • Collaborate with Producers on project budgets, scopes, and timelines, ensuring solutions are delivered on-time, within budget, and to the client's creative specifications.
  • Serve as the essential link between the client and the creative/production teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Remain current with event industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
