About The Position

The Account Executive at Mohawk Industries is responsible for driving sales within the assigned territory, which includes Northern Colorado and Wyoming. Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of progressively responsible work-related experience.
  • Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's diverse business and product lines.
  • Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate with diverse groups and achieve results through teamwork.
  • Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze statistical and financial data.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sales within the flooring or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with mohawkNet system for order tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sales calls to customers and potential customers, providing information and support.
  • Make sales presentations to prospective and current clients.
  • Calculate and quote prices, take orders, and close transactions.
  • Utilize persuasive sales and negotiation techniques to explain product features and merits.
  • Monitor territory performance against established objectives and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
  • Provide customer service to resolve issues and communicate customer requirements to other departments.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory in conjunction with the Regional Vice President.
  • Stay informed of industry, product, economic, and territory changes that may impact sales.
  • Develop a territory coverage plan defining support and frequency of customer contact.
  • Perform analysis on region opportunities and develop sales forecasts by customer and product.
  • Manage business expenses in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure all assigned company-owned equipment and materials are used and maintained properly.
