About The Position

The Account Executive for the Commercial Services Group in the New England Sales Market will be responsible for representing Ally with commercial dealers and maintaining strong working relationships with key dealership personnel. The candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine, with a preference for Massachusetts or Connecticut. This role requires local travel throughout the surrounding New England sales territory (MA, CT, VT, NH, ME), and a company vehicle will be provided. The position involves marketing and promoting the full spectrum of commercial products, identifying and maximizing revenue potential, and coordinating activities with matrix partners to address dealership concerns. The candidate will also need to demonstrate thorough knowledge of Ally's commercial products and provide best-in-class dealer service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of dealer-interfacing experience in the auto finance space or B2B sales experience required.
  • Dealer-interfacing experience highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred.
  • Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise.
  • Leverage technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
  • Contribute to and manage projects.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent sales and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Ally with commercial dealers and maintain/develop strong working relationships with key commercial dealership personnel.
  • Market and promote the full spectrum of commercial products and identify, pursue, and maximize the revenue potential of Commercial Dealers within assigned territory.
  • Coordinate activities with matrix partners and identify, communicate, and develop recommendations to address dealership concerns as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all of Ally's commercial products, plans, and programs.
  • Maximize all avenues of revenue opportunity.
  • Build and strengthen rapport with dealer body and provide best in class dealer service.
  • Provide OEM support to strengthen and develop Ally's relationships with OEM partners.
  • Elevate risk issues to executive leadership and stay abreast of constant changes in policy and procedures.
