About The Position

The Account Executive, Business Development reports to the Director, Premium Hospitality & Business Development and will assist with all outbound ticket sales related functions. This individual will be primarily responsible for selling each facet of our business: season tickets, partial plans, premium single match tickets, and group tickets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred
  • 1+ year of prior experience in outbound sales, sports or live entertainment preferred but not require
  • Positive “Make it happen” attitude
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks quickly
  • Experience using SeatGeek preferred
  • Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong team philosophy: proven ability to work positively, collaboratively, and professionally within a team and across an organization
  • An innovated approach and willingness to contribute creative solutions to problems as they arise
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required by FCC game schedules, premium and hospitality events

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business via direct B2B and B2C outreach, with a focus on each sales facet of our business
  • Lead our Ticket Sales and Service team in overall phone call and email activity with prospective ticket buyers
  • Consistently meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
  • Manage interactions with prospects through use of CRM system including accurately documenting client information and abiding by team policies and procedures
  • Build relationships with prospective customers via outbound communication efforts and enhance those relationships through face to face and virtual appointments
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Special Events, Community Relations, and Ticket Operations to promote new ticket campaigns and ticket-based offerings
  • Assist with sales and retention efforts including servicing and upselling existing and new clients
  • Assist event staff during matches with day-to-day customer service, operations, ticket fulfillment, and other miscellaneous duties at all FC Cincinnati home games
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding individual and team performance and developmental goals
  • Attend events and complete other duties as assigned
