About The Position

The Account Executive, B2C will perform specific tactical sales functions through cross-functional management of multiple internal departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in B2C is required.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Detail-oriented, Strong organizational skills, flexible, and efficient.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects/requests
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be focused on continuous improvement and be self-motivated.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Ability to communicate complicated information to others.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to create and write reports.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving variables.
  • The work performed is in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.

Responsibilities

  • Secure images and title metadata from the publishers.
  • Submit title set-up forms to customers and input SKU information in the distribution system.
  • Set up virtual bundles in the internal system and communicate those details to the customer.
  • Responsible for submitting purchase orders, tracking and monitoring inbound shipments, processing promotional orders and tracking placement reports.
  • Add titles to the internal system as needed.
  • Participate in frequent customer-facing calls and advocate customer needs to internal teams.
  • Provide daily compliance reporting to customers.
  • Monitor customer’s online sites to ensure titles are available and all content is complete and accurate.
  • Frequent communication with ReaderLink retail customers.
  • Communicate all promotions and hot titles to the warehouses in advance.
  • Work closely with the account management team and support other internal departments to meet customer expectations.
  • Needs to be able to quickly assess a customer inquiry or account task, determine a solution or information needed and own the process through completion and follow-up.
  • Produce ad hoc sales reports and stock-level information. Assist in the creation of presentations and sales analysis as required.
  • Proactively manages list of tasks and scheduling.
  • Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage the needs of the account management team and other internal and external groups.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.
