About The Position

Stringfellow Technology Group is a Nashville-based IT managed services provider that has helped growing companies get IT off their plate since 2005, offering Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, cloud, and practical technology planning through their ProSafeIT solution. The ideal candidate is competitive, coachable, and eager to build a career in sales. They should have sufficient sales experience to understand effective prospecting but still be early enough in their career to be driven to prove themselves. The role requires a desire for a robust pipeline, clear targets, and a team that invests in professional development. The individual should be a self-starter who values structure, actively sharpens their sales pitch, and is motivated to achieve top performance.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with a structured approach to new business development (Sandler, Jeb Blount, or similar frameworks a plus)
  • A track record of hunting and closing new logos, not just managing existing accounts
  • Confidence selling to SMB leadership: owners, COOs, CFOs, and operations managers
  • Strong communication and storytelling ability across phone, video, and in-person settings
  • Self-starter discipline: managing your own calendar, hitting activity targets, and holding yourself accountable
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo

Nice To Haves

  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and familiarity with Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of net-new business, with the market limited only by imagination
  • Drive daily outbound activity including cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email, networking, and in-person prospecting with owners and executives
  • Run sharp first meetings to uncover pain, size the business impact, and secure next steps on the call
  • Present ProSafeIT in terms that business leaders value: productivity, growth, and reduced risk
  • Advance and close deals by negotiating, handling objections, and collaborating with the consulting team for smooth client handoffs
  • Represent Stringfellow in the market by attending industry events, local associations, and speaking engagements
  • Track activity and pipeline in CRM and maintain high momentum
