About The Position

The DIRECTV Ad Sales organization is seeking an Account Executive responsible for selling targeted, digital (programmatic and direct IO), linear advertising products and services to agencies. This strategic leader is responsible for revenue generation on a portfolio of independent agency accounts. The Account Executive prepares and presents sales proposals and participates in client meetings and oversees execution of campaigns to ensure alignment with customer objectives. In this role, you are accountable for achieving advertising sales goals or quotas, and carrying out the entire sales process from initial contact to close, generally with guidance from senior staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • This role typically has 3 – 5+ years of Sales experiences owning a book of business.
  • Background in Linear, Digital Video Advertising, CTV Streaming, and Programmatic Ad Sales is required.
  • Effective leader, strategist, and communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and growth via lead qualification and prospecting across all product categories.
  • Build and manage deep relationships across agencies and clients.
  • Be a consultant to client’s business by demonstrating category/vertical expertise and knowledge of the Advanced TV landscape.
  • Organize client meetings and conduct sales calls to build a sales pipeline to meet and exceed quarterly targets.
  • Organize meetings with Agency buying and planning teams to sell through strategies/solutions that drive client performance and meet internal sales objectives.
  • Coordinate with various support groups to run point on building account specific strategies and create consultative sales presentations that represent our platforms.
  • Assist on new and innovative projects and initiatives to grow revenue for the company.
  • Provide readouts on business based on current and future state.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, product, business development, and business analytics) providing client and marketplace feedback to improve and deliver innovative solutions.
