About The Position

Drive revenue growth and market share expansion for Digital Realty by developing new enterprise customer relationships while expanding and protecting revenue within an existing account portfolio. This role combines new business acquisition with strategic account management, leveraging cross-functional collaboration to deliver high customer satisfaction and long-term growth. Digital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions. PlatformDIGITAL®, the company’s global data center platform, provides customers with a secure data meeting place and a proven Pervasive Datacenter Architecture (PDx®) solution methodology for powering innovation and efficiently managing Data Gravity challenges. Digital Realty gives its customers access to the connected data communities that matter to them with a global data center footprint of 300+ facilities in 50+ metros across 25+ countries on six continents. Our Sales team is at the sharp end of our business, securing new customers from network and cloud service providers through to all kinds of major global and regional enterprises and local businesses. We help identify the objectives of our customers and enable them to succeed by combining our strategic knowledge of the industry, technical knowledge of our global data center platform, PlatformDIGITAL®, with our ability to develop strong partnerships.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience preferred, ideally within cloud, data center, or IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven success managing complex sales cycles and executive-level relationships.
  • Strong forecasting, negotiation, and pipeline management skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and presentation tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships within assigned accounts and target prospects.
  • Lead regular business reviews to align on customer objectives, address challenges, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Proactively manage customer satisfaction and support timely issue resolution.
  • Identify customer business and technical needs and align them with Digital Realty’s global data center platform of retail and scale collocation assets, plus connectivity solutions.
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations in partnership with Sales Engineers and Solutions Architects.
  • Drive both account expansion and new logo acquisition within enterprise markets.
  • Partner with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Commercial Solutions, Operations, and Sales Leadership to execute account strategy.
  • Leverage reseller and strategic alliance partners to penetrate accounts and develop new opportunities.
  • Collaborate across regions to position Digital Realty’s global platform.
  • Manage pipeline activity and maintain accurate forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Identify churn risks, expiring contracts, and renewal opportunities.
  • Prioritize accounts and prospects to achieve short- and long-term revenue objectives.
