As an Account Director at Spiceworks, you will partner with clients to leverage Spiceworks Ziff Davis (SWZD) offerings to accomplish their marketing objectives. You will serve as a consultant to help clients utilize our awareness, community, data, and demand generation solutions to meet and exceed their nuanced goals and influence their potential growth.

  • Expand relationships and revenue with current clients by presenting strategic opportunities and prospecting new lines of business within those accounts.
  • Prospect within your broader sales territory to identify net new advertisers, as well win back opportunities with previous accounts that are no longer spending.
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management within our CRM tool is a must, including logging of sales activities related to the opportunities you generate.
  • Work with internal teams - marketing, research, operations - to develop and successfully execute campaigns on behalf of your clients.
  • Leverage your experience and industry knowledge to challenge and improve on existing internal processes, offerings, and positioning to help build a better SWZD.
  • Maintain a detailed awareness of relevant market trends that may directly and/or indirectly impact your accounts.
  • 5-7 years of experience successfully selling advertising solutions into agencies, marketers, and C-Level executives.
  • Experience selling integrated programs that include (but are not limited to) - data, direct and programmatic display, email, research, and demand generation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication/presentation (written and verbal) skills.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding quota expectations using a consultative sales approach.
  • Salesforce, MS Office, G-Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
