Viant’s QSR business is growing, with enterprise and mid-tier dinaing and foodservice brands, adopting our DSP through agency relationships.. We are now seeking an Account Director, QST to further accelerate our growth in this category by scaling brand-direct demand, expanding agency adoption, and strengthening our position as a leader in targeting and measurement solutions. In this role you will lead the next phase of growth in one of the most complex and high-potential categories in programmatic advertising. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of building direct brand relationships across QSR brands, advertisers, and restaurants while also having experience collaborating with agencies to influence ad tech adoption. She/He will be responsible for growing category revenue, influencing the go-to-market strategy, and working cross-functionally with Product, Business Development (Data, Measurement, Technology, Supply), Marketing to elevate Viant as the premier programmatic solution for QSR marketers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of advertising experience and a minimum of 3+ years in collaborating with QSR brands (brand-direct, agency, or vendor side experience).
  • Expertise in QSR verticals, preferably in a brand-direct capacity (will also consider vendor-side and agency experience).
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising (CTV, Streaming Audio, Online Video, Display, DOOH, and Mobile) and how it applies to brands.
  • A proven track record of building brand-direct relationships and scaling programmatic adoption.
  • Self starter with experience closing large MSAs in adtech, programmatic, or digital media.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, business development, and marketing teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate industry challenges into advertising solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to evangelize to Viant’s leadership in programmatic advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and scale Viant’s QSR footprint by expanding direct relationships in the Mass Merchant, Grocery, Convenience,, and Specialty categories.
  • Establish Viant as the premier programmatic solution for the QSR category by evangelizing our DSP differentiators across targeting, measurement, insights, and identity solutions for both Dining and QSR brand investment..
  • Drive greater industry awareness through thought leadership, conference participation, and client education.
  • Own and grow brand-direct demand while also supporting the core sales team in driving agency adoption across the QSR category.
  • Develop and execute a brand-first strategy that ensures Viant is in the consideration set for DSP adoption across leading QSR Brands.
  • Partner with agency teams to help them navigate the evolving QSR programmatic landscape and ensure Viant is the platform of choice.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify key data, measurement, and supply partnerships that strengthen Viant’s QSR offering.
  • Ensure Viant’s measurement solutions align with QSR dining best practices and help clients drive enterprise value for their brands.
