Account Director, Biologics Analytical Services
About The Position
The Account Director, Biologics Analytical Services will drive revenue growth for our division with a particular focus on identifying and closing analytical opportunities in all phases of drug development from late discovery/pre-clinical through to commercial. Other responsibilities for the Account Director, Biologics Analytical Services include market intelligence/market research analysis as gained through client interactions, trade show attendance, etc. This is a field-based, remote role that will require travel as needed in support of business development activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the bio, pharma, medical device industries, or other related industries.
- Strong network of Analytical Scientists within given territory a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific area required.
- Exceptional selling, organization, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Science related MS, Ph.D. or MBA (with science BS) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining a network in the given territory with a propensity to hunt for new business.
- Developing strong relationships, establishing new clients and closing business in biotech service-based market segment.
- Consultative selling in a regulated environment.
- Understanding of drug development requirements including preclinical, clinical and commercial stages.
- Developing and negotiating complex contracts.
- Other duties as assigned.
