About The Position

This is a hunter-focused position ideal for sales professionals who excel at driving new business and expanding strategic accounts. As an Account Director, Advisory Services, you will leverage your strategic selling and relationship-building skills to educate prospective and existing customers on the value of the company while driving revenue growth and expanding market share. You will be responsible for winning new logos and growing our footprint within strategic accounts, identifying new opportunities, and delivering measurable business impact. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide insights, uncover opportunities, and solve complex business challenges for your customers. You are a natural hunter who thrives on breaking into new accounts while also expanding relationships within existing organizations.You will gain cross-functional exposure by partnering closely with teams across customer success, marketing, product, sales enablement, solution engineering, and sales development to drive success across the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate is adaptable, strategic, customer-focused, and an effective communicator who can build rapport quickly. You should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical thinking, tactical execution, and the ability to embrace change and rapid growth are essential for success in this role. This role requires candidates to be based in the Boston, MA area or the broader New England region.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of proven full-cycle sales experience in the Technology and Telecommunications Industry
  • Strong business development skills with experience prospecting and bringing in new business
  • Experience selling to the C-Suite
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations to direct customers
  • Ability to orchestrate multiple internal resources and extended team members including solutions engineers, customer success, and product-specific specialists
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and digital sales tools

Responsibilities

  • Plans, builds, and maintains relationships with key stakeholders in key accounts
  • Facilitates customer relationships to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Leads and drives coordinated sales approach with the extended sales team and external partners
  • Understands business drivers of accounts and leverages strategic alliances and reseller partners to penetrate accounts
  • Research and document a detailed understanding of the customer business and organizational landscape
  • Develops strategic, global account plans focused on maintaining/growing accounts
  • Actively monitors and maintains the status of opportunities in SFDC with effective forecasting outcomes
  • Conducts quarterly business reviews with customers to identify and develop new selling opportunities
