At Postman, we're looking for an ambitious and motivated Account Development Specialist to join our high-performing sales organization. This is an entry-level role designed to help you break into SaaS sales at an industry-leading company. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with our Strategic Account Directors-our top sales reps who manage Postman's most important enterprise accounts-as well as a seasoned Enterprise ADR, SE and post-sales teams. You'll gain hands-on experience in enterprise sales development, learning how to prospect effectively, research deeply, and understand the complex organizational structures of some of the world's largest companies. If you succeed, you'll have the opportunity to move into a mid-market Account Development role within six months, giving you a fast track to accelerating your sales career.

  • Partner with Strategic Account Directors to support Postman's top enterprise accounts.
  • Research target companies to uncover business priorities, key initiatives, and potential opportunities.
  • Prospect for the right contacts using a robust tech stack, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, and Demandbase.
  • Map out organizational structures and decision-making processes within enterprise accounts.
  • Collaborate with experienced Enterprise ADRs to sharpen your sales development skills.
  • Deliver high-quality insights and data to help sales teams create and execute effective account strategies.
  • Learn the fundamentals of SaaS sales development to build a foundation for your long-term career growth.
  • 0-1 year of professional experience, ideally in a customer-facing role (internships, retail, hospitality, or service experience count).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Coachable and eager to learn from some of the best enterprise sales professionals in the industry.
  • Hungry to build a career in sales and motivated by personal and professional growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourceful, curious, and persistent when it comes to research and prospecting.
  • Comfortable working with technology and quick to learn new tools.
