About The Position

The purpose of this job is to generate leads, qualify prospects, develop relationships, as well as negotiate and close sales with broad supervision in an assigned geographic territory. The role involves targeting leads and strategically developing relationships with qualified prospects and new customers. Responsibilities include securing appointments, delivering sales presentations, negotiating terms and conditions, and closing sales of relevant company offerings. The position also requires responding to inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests in a timely manner, and addressing customers’ wholesale needs where appropriate. Coordination and collaboration with company stakeholders to maximize opportunities to meet SMART gallon and profit goals is essential. The role involves consulting with the Divisional Director of Sales to develop closing and sales strategies, offering subject matter expert (SME) consultations to customers, managing accounts toward SMART gallon and profit goals, and remaining current with changes in the fuel industry, delivery systems, and competitor activity. Additionally, acquiring market intelligence to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly is important. The candidate is expected to model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose and ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level, while ensuring all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience with telemarketing sales preferred or three years of telesales experience.
