About The Position

This position may be filled at the Account Associate or Senior Account Associate level, depending on qualifications and experience. About the Role We are seeking a driven, energetic, experienced Account Associate to join our dynamic Insurance team in Jericho, NY.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of industry experience preferred
• Time management and ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office product suite, and Adobe Pro systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, file, update and manage time-sensitive insurance documents critical to the business, including but not limited to: certifications of insurance, endorsement requests, loss summaries, quotes, binding requests, renewal letters, mod analysis, and many more!
• Learn industry terminology and commercial insurance coverage basics
• Conduct research; compile information for Account Managers and Account Executives
• Participate in off-site carrier, client, and prospect meetings as
• Keep insurance filing and database system up to date (Applied Epic)
• Assist in creating proposals, summary of insurance, and presentations
• Responsible for billing accurately and timely , a udit processing
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to insure a high-level of customer service
• Provide backup for other team members during their absence
• Additional responsibilities as
• Undertake various duties and special projects as assigned
