About The Position
Plays piano accompaniment for show choir rehearsals and performances.
Requirements
- Proficient in playing piano accompaniments
- Proficient in sight-reading choral parts
- Ability to follow cues from the directors
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Accompany vocal music ensembles on the piano for both rehearsals and performances.
- Record accompaniments.
- Regularly practice to ensure accuracy and fluency.
- Works well with others, maintaining positive and effective communication with school personnel and students.
- Ability to relate to all students regardless of needs and/or abilities.
- Contributes to creating a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrates ability to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations.
