Position Summary The Accommodation Specialist will review supporting documentation and requests for accommodation(s) from students (i.e., undergraduate, graduate, and distance learners), rendering determinations on appropriate accommodations. They will also orient, support, and provide guidance to students and those in their support system(s) about the disability accommodations process at the University, and the appropriate use of accommodations. In addition, the specialist will assist students in the accommodations process associated with field placements, practicums, and other non-paid placement settings. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, and will report to the Assistant Director of Student Disability Services Program (SDS) and will serve as an interactive member of the SDS accommodation review team including assisting with other departments responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
