About The Position

Automotive Accessories (Bolt-on)/Truck Equipment Installer Don Hewlett Chevrolet Buick, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Bolt-On Accessory Installer. We install all types of accessories on many types of vehicles. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail. You will work with a great team in a fast-paced environment to equip our customers new and used vehicles according to their specific needs. This company offers an excellent opportunity for growth. We are continuing to grow our accessory business so this position specifically requires at least one year of experience installing bolt-on accessories in addition to any other automotive service experience you may have. Job Description: Installation of receiver hitches, goose neck hitches, fifth wheel hitches, wiring, steps, bumpers, toolboxes, suspension lifts, trailer repair, van shelving and service/truck body installation Maintain work area appearance and safety Hours are 8 am - 5:30 pm Monday thru Friday May occasionally be required to work on Saturdays from 8 am Noon.

Requirements

At least one year experience installing bolt-on accessories to be considered for position
Position requires a combination of skills including ability to communicate with co-workers, ability to work with hand tools, and the ability to work alone.
Applicants must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Ability to work outdoors occasionally in the summer and winter.
High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Having your own tools is a plus but not required.
Electrical wiring experience a plus
