As a Partner in Wellbeing, the Access Specialist works with a team to provide direction of services needed, meeting directly with clients and their families, working with various financial situations and special requirements. Escalate calls where they are beyond job scope, ensuring quality service. Follow through with customers and problems to ensure closure. This function involves extensive use of electronic health records and data entry accuracy. Within the team, Access Specialists will assist in multiple duties, including answering multi-line telephone systems, registrations, insurance verification, referrals, scheduling, and financial counselling to clients and family members. This position is the first point of contact in assisting clients in their well-being journey. The Access Specialist also supports clients’ access to psychology services by assisting the psychologist with information collection and the administration of tests.
