This position is responsible for scheduling and registering patients according to established procedures in assigned areas, including Admitting, Outpatient, Emergency Department, and Central Access OR. When functioning as the Access Services Cashier, the role includes confirming and processing interdepartmental monies—such as cash, checks, and credit card transactions—while ensuring all funds are securely maintained in accordance with organizational protocols.
