Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis. The role of the Access Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is to minimize access and reimbursement barriers for patients and providers related to Resmetirom. They will accomplish this by executing the Patient Access strategic plan in a dedicated geographic area with physicians and institutional customers. The ARM will work closely with internal and external partners including HCP's, Specialty Pharmacies, Madrigal Patient Support hub and their staff involved in securing appropriate access for Resmetirom. They will work closely with Market Access, Trade and Sales partners in the field, supporting accounts in resolving reimbursement issues and concerns. The ARM is expected to have a deep working knowledge of both public and private payer policies within their market, as it relates to Resmetirom coverage and access. As with all employees, ARMs are fully accountable for compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of Madrigal activities.
